Strict and Effective Emergency Response Plan

The safety of students after arriving in the United States is a top priority issue for Wemeets. From safety prevention to incident management, we strive for meticulous attention to detail and rapid response to ensure that emergencies are effectively resolved. We have developed strict and detailed plans and measures, from initial guidance and training to subsequent response strategies.

In our emergency response plan, our US-based coordinators will reach the incident site within 24 hours; we provide updates to the students' parents and schools every four hours; and we also provide psychological counseling to other students, comforting them and ensuring the smooth completion of the program while preventing similar incidents from happening again.

Streamlined Communication Mechanism

Wemeets adheres to the principles of timely, effective, and honest communication. Through eight years of program operation experience, Wemeets has continuously strengthened team service training, deepened its service philosophy, and improved its service system. We provide accurate records of students' psychological changes, work situations, and living conditions after arriving in the US, especially providing timely reports at key points such as arrival day, first day of work, last day of work, and return home country, keeping parents informed of their children's program progress weekly.

Wemeets Program Fund

To ensure students' basic living expenses in the United States, we have established a fund specifically for students who experience financial difficulties during their program in the U.S. due to reasons beyond their control, such as insufficient working hours or income that does not meet minimum living standards. This fund aims to assist students in successfully completing their program.

Chinese Customer Service Hotline

During students' stay in the United States, Wemeets will provide a 24*7 Chinese customer service hotline to offer timely assistance to students in case of emergencies.

Professional Service Team

Wemeets has a professional service team, including counselors, coordinators, and program management personnel, all possessing highly specialized program knowledge and skills. This ensures that every student successfully completes their program, truly enhancing their abilities, broadening their horizons, and contributing to their personal growth! In addition, a comprehensive data center records each student's personal information and program progress, providing full program tracking.

I work at a casino hotel owned by Caesars Entertainment, and my job is as a security officer. First of all, I was very lucky to get this job, as you need to be at least 21 years old. The company is quite large, and it took almost half a month to complete all the procedures before I officially started, but it didn't disappoint me at all. At first, I thought security work was just standing at the door, a leisurely job, but I later realized I was wrong. Initially, a trainer trained us for ten days, followed by an entrance exam. The company owns two casinos, and every day I followed the trainer, familiarizing myself with every corner of the casino. We had to memorize codes, as most communication on the walkie-talkies is done using codes to prevent guests from hearing sensitive words and causing panic. Our work involves access to the most critical areas of the casino, such as the vault, and we are responsible for escorting chips, etc. We are equipped with handcuffs and have undergone arrest training. Through this training, I met my best friend at work, a I work at a casino hotel owned by Caesars Entertainment, and my job is as a security officer. Most of the security staff are Europeans, from Lithuania, Poland, and Serbia, but we all get along very well.

I am Rachel. I worked in the Harricane Harbor of Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey. For me, it wouldn't be such a wonderful summer without making so many friends in 2017 SWT program. Life here is not just about working and making more money but also fun. The sand beach volleyball game was held every Wednesday night. Co-workers from the United States, Dominican Republic and Serbia formed different teams and had a lot of fun. Since most of us are lifeguards, every time when someone was hit by the ball and lay down, other lifeguards would say,"Hey, hey,are you Ok? Start first-aid." Then everybody laughed out loud. The best part during the three months, I think, is chatting at the picnic table when I went on break. Co-workers would greet each other when they meet. And I got used to saying "Hi " to people around me. We talked about our daily schedule and whether. If there is a lightning, the water park would close then everybody has to go home. Once there was a storm, all the team members had to stay at the back stage, waiting for the signal to go home. And We danced and played card games with our supervisors, which was an amazing experience. Besides, we talked about our majors, our home countries, our hobbies. I got to know about the ambitions of my peers from different countries. And I got to know about their attitudes towards their future jobs and marriage. In a word, I am so glad that I could make friends from different part of the world and had a better understanding towards American culture and other cultures through this joyful trip.
